Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) may allege that you are not admissible to Canada because of a criminal conviction, misrepresentation, or security concern. They may seek to have a removal order made against you. In this case it is critical that you consult with a lawyer before you attend any hearing. If you have a criminal conviction from another country, you may be eligible for a rehabilitation application, which if successful, would still allow you to obtain status in Canada.
